Annual Session was a
Success
The 140th Annual Session was held April 30 - May
3 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Speakers included Dr.
Sascha A. Jovanovic, who presented "Aesthetic Implant
Therapy: Protocols for Success" and Bruce Manchion, "Why
Happiness is Your Enemy," as well as many others. (read

Changes in
State Requirements for Dental Technicians
An amendment proposed by the SCDLA was passed by the SC General Assembly
which incorporates new certification
requirements, including registration for out-of-state
dental technicians who want to do business in South
Carolina. (read more)

A Message From Our New President
 I
am indeed grateful for the opportunity to serve as
President of the South Carolina Dental Laboratory
Association. For the past six years, it has been a
pleasure to work alongside the dedicated and hardworking
members of the board. I have been fortunate to be a part
of an organization that has a solid foundation and is
committed to building strong relationships in the dental
community.Looking ahead, I welcome the
challenges facing our industry and hope to see an
increase in membership and involvement of our fellow
technicians. I would like to thank our current
members for their continued support and participation.
