Dr.
John O. Burgess, DDS, MS
Dr.
John O. burgess is a graduate of Emory University School
of Dentistry. He received his M.S. in Biomedical
sciences from the University of Texas Health Science
Center in Houston, Texas, completed a one year General
Practice Residency and a two year General Dentistry
Residency. Currently Dr. Burgess is the assistant dean
for clinical research at the University of Alabama at
Birmingham. A prolific researcher, Dr. Burgess has
published more than 300 articles, abstracts, and
textbook chapters. He is active in clinical evaluations
of dental materials and an investigator on clinical
protocols
evaluating adhesives, ceramic restoratives, fluoride
releasing materials, posterior composites, and
impressive materials. In addition to lecturing
nationally and internationaly, Dr. Burgess is an
excellent clinician. You will not want to miss his
presentation this year, because he will be back in 2008
for a hands-on course.
